See who else has Kogoto open in the same place right now, over Bluetooth. No GPS, no exact distance.
Meet people nearby.
Kogoto helps you discover and meet the people already around you, then turn that moment into a real connection.
Free on the App Store and Google Play.
How it works
Three steps, that's it.
-
1
Open Kogoto
Turn on Nearby when you're out and about. You decide when you're visible, and to whom.
-
2
Discover people around you
See other Kogoto users in the same place, right now, at your campus, café, gym or venue.
-
3
Connect in real life
Send a connection, say hi, and keep it going in person. The app gets out of the way.
Inside Kogoto
Made to end with people face to face.
Discover, connect, say hi, meet up. Then the app gets out of the way.
Connections
Send a request, wait for a yes. Nothing happens unless it's mutual. No swiping, no match games.
Messages
Once you've connected, keep the conversation going and make a plan to meet up in person.
Stories
Share a real moment with the people you've met. Visible to your connections, gone in 24 hours.
Spots, Events & Reviews
Built for real places and real moments.
Kogoto lives where people already gather. Three simple ideas anchor it.
Kogoto Spots
Persistent real-world places: a campus, café, bar, club, gym, hostel or social venue. A Spot is somewhere Kogoto life keeps happening, day after day.
Events
Time-limited gatherings: a meetup, a party, a festival. Join an Event and Kogoto helps everyone in it find each other while it lasts.
Reviews
Rate a Spot you've actually visited, one to five stars. One review per person, no bots. You can choose to share it to Google too, but it's never automatic.
Kogoto Spots and Events grow one city at a time. Right now, that's Vienna.
Creator Platform
Run a Spot or organize events?
Cafés, bars, hotels, hostels, universities, communities and event organizers can create and manage Kogoto Spots and Events in the Creator Platform.
The world is already full of people worth meeting. Kogoto helps you notice them.
We build for the real world. Our tools exist to end with people face to face.
